Abstract

Kelet Public Hospital, which has just opened for the general patients, belongs to the local government of Central Java Province. The implementation of nursing care documentation still far (58,9%) from the expectation (80%). The aim of this research was to analyse the influence of nurse’s knowledge, motivation, and perception toward the chief’s of inpatient room supervision to the implementation of nursing care documentation at Kelet Public Hospital, Jepara, Central Java. he results showed that 51.6% of the subjects had good knowledge, 54.8% had good motivation factor, 51.6% had good perception about supervision and 58.1% had good nursing care documentation. There were correlations between nurse’s knowledge (p value = 0.007), motivation (p value = 0.0001), perception about chief’s supervision of inpatient room (p value = 0.007) to the implementation of nursing care documentation. Both nurse knowledge (p value = 0.044, Exp (B) = 6,280) and perception about supervision (p value = 0,044, Exp (B) = 6,280) influenced the implementation of nursing care documentation.
