Abstract

Work satisfaction of employess is one organization effectiveness determinants. The objective of this research was to analyze the work satisfaction on employess to improve health service at the hospital and SWOT analysis on Human Resource for arranging a strategic plan for Human Resource Development. The result showed that 1.4% of respondents were strongly unsatisfied, 51.3% was unsatisfied and 47.3% satisfied. Twenty –pine point seven percents of the respondents strongly disagreed with the satifaction of incentive. Most (78.3%) of the respondents disagreed with the statement “monitoring system of had been done well” and 66.2% of the respondents disagreed with the statement “emplotess monitoring had been done well”. Most performance appraisal on employess was satisfied”. The qualitative results showed that the work relationship between employess and the management was unsatisfied. In individual factors, emlpoyees were unsatisfied with their curent job. In external factors, emlpoyees were unsatisfied with the recreation, promotion, and opportunity for further study and trainings. In work situation, employees were unsatisfied with the current policies and work performance. In work environment, the hospital was unsafe, inconvenient, and lack of equipments and facilities. The compensation was unsatisfied as it was not based on work performance, un-proportional, and often late.
