Abstract

Case Mix technology which had been prepared since 2006 at Dr. Kariadi Public Hospital and implemented in 2008 had brought the implication for medical record development as one of the factors to support case mix development. The objective of this research was to analyze the role of medical record installation within management of change by vision and mission determination, internal and external environment analysis, main issue identification, strategy formulation, implementation and control. The results showed that while implementing case mix, the medical record installation conducted the road show strategy on the importance of completeness and continuance of medical record, approach to the medical committee, track the medical record documents, and provide feedback to the installation in 2008. The number of overdue report decreased from 7.50% in 2007 to 3.35% in 2008 after implementing the new strategy. The number of complete documents decreased from 7.58% in 2007 to 0.97% in 2008 after implementing the new strategy. Sumber Utama : www.mikm.undip.ac.id
