This study is an observational study using survey method and cross sectional approach. Structured questionnaire which had been tested for its validity and reliability was employed. Chi-square test for testing two variables and multivariate logistic regression were used for data analysis. Ninety nine midwifes were included in this study, covering all midwifes in 27 sub district, 39 Puskesmas, 331 villages within the district of Banyumas. Result of the study shows that good performance of bidan di desa are found in 49 midwifes (49.5%) and poor performance in 50 midwifes (50.5%). Respondents with good perception on compensation system consist of 45.5% and 60.6% has less satisfactory level of perception. Significant association is found between perception and motivation (p: 0.0001), supervision and compensation system (p < 0.05). Multivariate analysis indicates the influence of several variables together toward performance of bidan di desa as an executor Poskesdes service guide. Those variables are motivation (OR= 8,668, p: 0.0001), supervision (OR: 2.463, p:0.073), perception on the compensation system (OR=4.061, p:0.007). Sumber Utama : www.mikm.undip.ac.id
