Abstract

The main problem of the research is developing morism village model in Borobudar area based on the potemial resources of communities. Purposes o/ the research are I) to identify potential resources 'Mind in the tourism village model, 2) 10 establish the developing model of tourism village around . . Borohudur area in accordance with their potential resources and the need fir the local conummities, 3)10 make a model of tour package to develop the tourism village and to empower local communities. Methods used in this research are to collect and to analize data. Data rollection hods throng), jumpy !MO?, (0.11'1110 Wit f aid interview. Data analysis helix in interpretative descriptive. Based on the research analysis there is a result that Candirejo Village is established as a Tourism Village Model around liorobudur area. II has many resources that can he developed. There are sash fum7111(1/ av mineral teSallktS, cultural resources, and human resources. Most communities in Candirejo village develop and perform actively and creatively the tour series and packages. Tour series developed are desmtitmed visa tourism, agro tourism, natural tourism, cultural tourism. and educational tourism. Tdurism packages are three hours, .six hours, one day, and one night stay packages There am suggestions afar gelling result of the research. Cardirclo village need to improve and develop any facilities and tourism components. The potential of social and environment needs step by step improvement. Candirejo village as a model M tourism village could hopefully he a pilot project fir tourism development inside and outside Borobudur area.
