POLA DISTRIBUSI DAN STRUKTUR POPULASI TIRAM Crassostrea sp. DI PERAIRAN MORODEIVIAK, KABUPATEN DEMAK

Abstract

Oyster of Craccostrea sp. have an economic value. The potency of this organism in tripocal region mostly in mangrove area. Demak Regency has mangrove area which grow from reboisation and sedimentation which inhabit by oyster. The research was aimed to understand distribution pattern pf oyster in Morodemak waters. The sampling station was determine prior to sampling time. The location was divided into 3 station ie. station I adjacent to the sea; II in the middle of mangrove area and III adjacent to beach. Each station was divided into 10 sub stasiun using transect of 5 x 5 m for 100 m. Oyterr were observed in each root of mangrove and counted. Result of research revealed that in mangrove area of Morodemak ware found C. iredelai dan C. ritizoporae. Those two oyster was distributed clumped.
