Karanganyar sub-province area is located at southwest slope Mount Lawu, with low undulate morphology until high undulate morphology and variation slope inclination from 10 degree angle until vertical. Karanganyar subprovince is an area that has many slides with landslide subcepbility from medium to high. This landslide is caused by steep slope condition and unstable land which triggered by rainwater infiltration. This reseach is located at planning of Solo-Ngawi highway that is located at STA 12 + 700 M Gondangrejo district, Karanganyar Sub Province, Central Java Province. STA 12 + 700 M is located in Wonorejo Village has a slope that will be passed by Solo-Ngawi highway plan, so that slope at reseach location is require to be modified with additional slope. To avoid ground movement at modified slope will piled up as Solo-Ngawi highway plan, so researcher simulate with change of height and angle of slope for getting factor of safety >1.5. The simulation of angle and height is done by computation with geostudio slope/w software analysis with Bishop method. To the computation need slope geometric (height and angle slope) and geotechnical variables (cohesion value, friction angle, and unit weight) from original slope. From the simulation model can be taken factor of safety 1.673, height of slope 6.5 metres and slope angle 150 and 350 with minimal fill material.
