KECEMASAN PADA WANITA HAMIL PASCA ABORTUS

Abstract

Background : Insidence of miscarriage range from 1 - 4 among 6 pregnancy at is estimated that 1 among 5 pregnancy end in miscarriage. This indicate that every year, thousands of woman in the world experience miscarriage and also feel the physical and emotional impact. Pregnancy and. miscarriage can become stressor leading to anxiety. Incidence of abortion in Indonesia for example in Dr.Kariadi hospital on January 2000 range from 15 - 20 %. Aim : To know the effect of woman that previously experience abortion to anxiety and several characteristic: education level, mother age, history of abortion, old age of abortion, and time elapsed between abortion and pregnancy. Method : This is on study with the Cross-sectional approach. The anxiety measured by Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS). Thirty-five respondens that data taken from medical record of Dr.Kariadi hospital during July- November 2005, fulfilling inklusion criteria that is : pregnant woman after abortion, pregnant woman has married. Responden election by using consecutive sampling. Data were analyzed by Kolgomorov-Smirnov test and Kruskal- Wallis test. Result : The anxiety in pregnant woman after abortion were : severe anxiety 17,1% ; moderate anxiety 45,7% ; mild anxiety 28,6%. Conclusion Education level, age, time elapsed between abortion and pregnancy and history of abortion had not significant difference with anxiety (p> 0,05) Keyword : Anxiety, pregnancy of pasca abortus, HARS
