Abstract
Penclitian dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui nilai 'Break Even Point' usaha ternak kerbau pada anggota kelompok tani ternak dengan sistem dikandangkan dan diggmbalakan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survci. Lokasi penelitian ditcntukan secara purpo¬sive dengan lokasi terpilih Kecamatan Taman dan Kecamatan Pemalang. Jumlah responden sebanyak 30 orang untuk setiap kecamatan dipilih didasarkan atas metode simple random sampling. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan uji bcda t-tcst dan jumlah pangkat Wilcoxon. Vasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata pemeliharaan ternak pada anggota kelompok tani ternak dengan sistem dikandangkan adalah 2,63 ST, dengan biaya tetap Rp 144.322,83/th; biaya tidak tetap Rp 3.393.779,63/th; pencrimaan Rp 6.027.958,33Ah; pendapatan Rp 2.489.855,87/th dan Break Even Point Rp 394.292,3/ th. Sedangkan basil analisis dari usaha kerbau dengan sistem digembalakan mentl' ukkan bahwa rata-rata pcmeliharaan ternak 2,56 ST; biaya tetap Rp 1; 9.622/th; biaya tidak tetap Rp 3.220.681,67/th; penerimaan Rp 5.938.566,67/th; pendapatan Rp 2.598.262,5/th dan Break Even Point Rp 298.481,55/th. Hash! uji beda menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbcdaan nyata dalam hal "break even point" dad dua sistem usaha, ternak kerbau tersebut. Kata kunci : BEIP, usaha ternak kerbau, sistem intensif sistem elcstensif ABSTRACT The objective of this research was to determine break even point of buffalo farming on farmers group with dry lot and grazing systems in Pemalang Region. Survey method was used as a research method. Based on purposive sampling of location, Taman District and Pemalang District was chosen as a research location and the number of respandent for each district was 30 persons. Data that have been collected were analysed using t-student and Wilcoxon analysis. The results showed that on the dry lot system the average number of buffalo raised was 2.63 ST; with the fixed cost Rp 144,322.83/year; variable cost Rp 3,393,779.63/year; revenue Rp 6,027,958.33/year; income Rp 2,489,855.87/year and break even point Rp 394,292.3/year. Mearmhile, buffalo farming analysis on grazing system showed that the average number of buffalo raised was 2,56 ST; fixed cost Rp 119,622/year; variable cost Rp 3,220,681.67/year; revenue Rp 5,938,566.67/year; income Rp 2,598,262.5/year and Break Even Point Rp 298,481.55/year, The results of statistical analysis showed that there was significant difference in level of break even point for the two system of buffalo farming.
