HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP AKSEPTOR KB DENGAN KELANGSUNGAN PENGGUNAAN ALAT KONTRASEPSI DI DESA REMBUN KECAMATAN SIWALAN KABUPATEN PEKALONGAN

Abstract

Krisis moneter dan krisis ekonomi ternyata berdampak kepada menurunnya kemampuan pelaksanaan program dan kegiatan pembangunan, termasuk Gerakan Keluarga Berencana Nasional. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengetahuan dan sikap akseptor KB terhadap kelangsungan penggunaan alat kontrasepsi di Desa Rembun Kecamatan Siwalan Kabupaten Pekalongan. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksplanatory survey dengan populasi para akseptor KB di desa Rembun. Data penelitian dihimpun melalui wawancara dengan kuesioner terhadap 72 orang akseptor KB yang merupakan total sampel. Uji statistik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Chi Square Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa 70,83% responden mengerti tujuan penggunaan alkon, 68,06% setuju bahwa penggunaan alkon yang cocok tidak berefek samping dan jika berhenti menggunakan alkon akan berdampak pada kehamilan, 69,44% responden memilih tetap menggunakan alkon. Tingkat pengetahuan responden tenteng alat kontrasepsi tergolong cukup baik (56,9%), sikap responden tentang penggunaan alat kontrasepsi sudah cukup baik (48,6), kelangsungan penggunaan alat kontrasepsi tergolong baik (55,6%), ada hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat pengetahuan responden dengan kelangsungan penggunaan alat kontrasepsi (p=0,00) dan ada hubungan yang signifikan antara sikap responden dengan kelangsungan penggunaan alat kontrasepsi (p=0,00). Saran yang dapat penulis sampaikan adalah (1) PLKB terus memberikan binaan maupun masukan kepada masyarakat khususnya ibu rumah tangga mengenai penggunaan alat kontrsepsi yang interaktif, misalnya simulasi;(2) Perlu diadakan program penyuluhan secara terpadu tentang penggunaan alat kontrsepsi, jenis-jenis, metode dan efek sampingnya di Desa Rembun;(3) PLKB harus dapat lebih pro-aktif dalam memberikan penyuluhan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan; (4) Para aseptor KB lebih meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang penggunaan alat kontrasepsi dengan sering mengikuti penyuluhan, misalnya membaca buku tentang KB; (5) Para aseptor KB selalu berkonsultasi berkala dengan tenaga medis apabila ada keluhan yang menyangkut dengan penggunaan alat kontrasepsi. The goal of this research is to understand the relationship between the family planning acceptors knowledge and attitude toward the use of contraceptive at DesaRembun Kecamatan Siwalan Kabupaten Pekalongan. The reasearch is using explanatory survey as the method with the family planning axxeptor as the population at Desa Rembun. Data gathered by interview the respondent with questioner from 72 acceptors as the total sample. We use the Chi Square Test to test the statistical relationship. The result from the analysis desribe that 70,83% of the respondent understand what the useof the contraceptive for 68,06% agree that the use of the proper contraceptive will not affect or generates the side effect and if they stop using them will lead to pregnancy 68,44% of the respodent decide to continue using the contraceptive. The respondent knowledge abaut the use of contraceptive is good enough (56,9%), the attitude of the respondent abaut the use of contraceptive is good enough (48,6%), the ongoing use of the contraceptive is good (55,6%), there's a significant relation between the respondent knowledge and the use of contraceptive (p value=0,00) and there is a significant relation between the attitude of the respondent toward the use of the contraceptive (p value=0,00). This research comes with suggestion such as (1) PLKB should give ongoing training and information to the society, particularly for the housewife about the use of the contraceptive through the interactive media, such as simulation; (2) Implemeting the training program about the use of the contraceptives, the choice, methods and the side effect at Desa Rembun; (3) PLKB should more pro-active in delivering the training to upgrade the knowledge; (4) The Family Planning acceptor should upgrade their knowledge about the use of the contraceptive, reading more books and looking for information about the contraceptive; (5) The Family Planning acceptors has to consult with the medics periodically if there is a side effect according the use of the contraceptive.
