Abstract

In vitro research have been conducted in Laboratory of Animal Nutrition, Faculty of Animal Science Diponegoro University as a mean to study the addition of sugar cane top and gift of agriculture industrial by-product compiled the same of protein, energy (TDN) and NDF, 15%, 66% and 58% respectively. Ration compiled with the proportion 40% forage and 60% concentrate. Treatment tested are RI of source 40% king grass, R2, 34% king grass + 6% sugar cane top, R3, 32% king grass + 8% sugar cane top R4, 30% king grass + 10% sugar cane top and R5, 28% king grass 1- 12% sugar cane top. Result of research indicate that the higher in vitro dry matter digestibility (IVDMD) of RI ( p<0,05) compared to other ratiom but in vitro organic matter digestibility (IVOMD) and the VFA produce of fifth ration do not show the existence of difference. On the contrary, produce the N-Amonia of R1 is lower compared to other ration; while acetate : propionat ratio of RI ration compared to other ration is higher. The base of the phenomenon replacement King Grass by sugar cans top until! 30% at rantion base on the agriculture industrial byproduct admit of applied Penelitian secara in vitro telah dilakukan di Laboratorium limn Makanan Ternak Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Diponegoro dengan tujuan untuk rnengkaji penambahan pucuk tebu dan pemberian pakan limbah industri pertanian yang disusun dengan kandungan protein kasar, energi (TDN) dan serat NDF yang sama, masing masing 15%, 66% dan 58%. Ransum disusun dengan proporsi hijauan 40% dan konsentrat 60 %. Perlakuan yang diujikan adalah RI sumber hijauan 40% rumput raja. R2, 34% rumput raja + 6% pucuk tebu, R3, 32% rumput raja + 8% pucuk tebu, R4, 30% rumput raja + 10% pucuk tebu dan R5, 28% rumput raja + 12% pucuk tebu. Basil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kel3K ransum RI lebih tinggi (pc:0,05) dibanding ransum lain tetapi KeB0 dan produksi VFA pada kelima ransum tidak menunjukkan a.danya perbedaan. Sebaliknya produksi N-amonia pada R I lebih rendah dibanding perlakuan lain, sedangkan rasio asetat/propionat pada ransum RI lebih tinggi dibanding ransum yang lain_ Berdasarkan fenomena tersebut penggantian rumput raja &eh pucuk tebu hingga 30% pada ransurn berbasis limbah industri pertanian masih dapat diterapkan.
