Abstract

Hypophysis produces several hormone namely Follide Stimulating Hormone (FSH). Luteinizing Hormone (LH) and Prolactin. Reeves (1987) stated that the application of hypophysis could promote the. Follitle de CratT growth may influence the fecundity. It could be reflected by the increase the quality and quantity of ova. Twenty four of does and two rams were used for the study. Does were divided into 3 group (TO, T . and T2). Each group was treated with Nacl Fisiologis, single dose of hypophysis and double dose of hypophysa extract respectively. Resule showed that the average of Oestrous onzet (hour) were 20.57 ± 3.25 (TO) ; 24.00 ± 7.75 (T I) and 22.80 ± 3.02 (T2) respectively. The oestrous duration (hour) was 22.27 ± 10.23; 34.29 ± 14.58 and 40.80 ± 7.82 respectively. More over, the percentage of pregnancy was 57,00%; 71.43% and 100,00%. These could be concluded that the best result was gained by the double dose of hypophysis extract. Kelenjar hypophysis merupakan salah saw kelenjar reproduksi yang menghasilkan hormon reproduksi baik primer dan sekunder. Hormon reproduksi primer tersebut adalah Fallicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH). Luteinizing hormon (LH) dan Prolactin. Reeves (1987) menerangkan bahwa pemberian unsur-unsur yang mempunyai daya meningkatkan pertumbuhan follicle de graff akan meningkatkan fekunditas ynitu kualitas dan kuantitas sel telur yang dihasilkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan 24 ekor domba bet la dan 2 ekor pejantan. Dun puluh empat ekor betina tersebut di bagi menjadi 3 kelompok masing-masing kelompok di suntik dengan Nacl fisiologis (TO) ekstrak saw hypophysis (T I) dan ekstrak dua hypophysis (T2). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata kecepatan tumbuhnya berahi TO : 20.57 ± 3.25 jam. TI : 24.00 ± 7.75 jam dan T2 : 22.80 ± .02 jam. Rata-rata lama berahi TO : 22.27 ± 10.23 jamTI : 34.29 ± 14.58 jam dan T2 : 40.80 ± 7.82 jam, serta persentase kebuntingan TO: 57% T1: 71,43 % dan T21100%. Berdasarkan analisis terhadap kecepatan berahi, lama berala dan kebuntingan pada domba yang disuntik ekstrak 2 hypophysa mendapatkan hasil yang terbaik.
