Central Java is a center for production and livestock development that potential not only physically and socially but also economically. In another hand, the farmers have constraint on fmancial capital, knowledge and management, consequently, the economical and technical efficiency of the agribusiness production have not been optimum. 2 Aims of research- (i) identification of the sources, the constraints and how the fanners get the fmancial capital is; (ii) identification of the farmers direction and problems on the financial capital allocation; (iii) analyse of the financial capital performance to the farmers, especially cost of production, 3 The method's research is survey that is used to get data on the dairy fatm, beef cattle farm; goat farm; sheep farm; broiler and layer fann and the farm of duck. Purposive stratified random sampling is a method for identifies the number respondents. 346 respondents are chosen whose distribute into 14 regions/cities in Central Java. Using questioner has held interview with respondents by using questioner for obtaining data. The kinds of data are primary and secondary data. Data are analyzed by qualitative and quantitative description, especially for analyzing the farmer's income and rentability. 4 The result and the research conclusion: (i) 10 of the 14 regions/cities are the location as a livestock base for economic growth with the level of Location Quotient > 1.0; (ii) the respondents have characteristic that 80.06% on the productive ages (30 -- 60 years old); the level of education are: 53.18% are elementary school; 2254% are secondary school and 24.28% are high school. Meanwhile, the occupation of respondents are 73.70% farmers and 65.02% of them have the experience 10 years as a livestock's farmers. 83.24% of the number's families are 5 persons. (iii) The livestock cost production is sourced from the farmer's income; most of the farmers have not been managed the financial capital well, due to the constraint.of that, especially for planning (the exceptions are the farmers who manage layer, broiler and duck). (iv) The highest farmer's income is source from layer, namely Rp 533,422,225.007/7,635 layers/year and the lowest is from goat, that is Rp 878,875/7 goats/year. The rentability value is 112.06% for layer; 87.41% for dairy farm; 68.04% for goat; 43.01% sheep; 25.08% for beef cattle; 21.02% for broiler; and 14.92% for duck. While the rentability of boiler farm-scale at the self-supporting pattern is 4.42% and the farm-scale at the partnership pattern is 2.65%. 5 Research suggestion: the empowering to the livestock farmers need to be done to increase the farm income and welfare, by financial capital and agribusiness management training, in order to get the better economically and technically efficiency. That conditions are considered to: (i) Central Java has potential of livestock not only economically but also technically; and (ii) the demand of food's livestock has not been saturated yet. C.
