Abstract
Penatitian dilakukan di Kecamatan Mojosongo kabupaten Boyotali Propinsi Jawa Tengah.. Sumber data diambil dengan kuesioner yang ditujukan kepada 4 Kelompok Tani Ternak (KIT) dari 22 KIT yang ada di Kecantatan Mojosongo., Kabupaten Boyotali Penelitian ini ingin mengkaji peranan wanita dalam usaha betetnak sapi perth di pedesaan. Data dikumpulkan melalui metode penelitian survth. Teknik yang dipakai adalah wawancara. terstruktur dengan menggunakan daftar pertanyaan terhadap responden terpilih .Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran isteri walaupun keel! ada pada setiap aktivitas yang berkaitan dengan pelaksanaan breeding, feeding maupun management, tetapi pada aktivitas yang menentukan, dan aktivitas yang berada di luar rumah serta aktivitas yang membutuhkan ketrampilan khusus suami mempunyai peranan yang sangat besar. kecuali isteri yang sudah janda dan merangkap sebagai kepala rumah tangga menentukan semua aktivitas yang ada pada usaha peternakan sapi perah. ABSTRACT THE ROLE OF WOMEN IN DAIRY FARM IN MOJOSONCO DISTRICT, BOYOLALL Ben Sukamto, Widyati-Slamet and ED Purbayanti The research was conduct in Mojosongo District, Boyolati, Central Java by survey. Respondens were 4 Dairy Farmer Group (DFG) from 22 DEG in Mojosongo. This research wanted to investigate the of married women. role in dairy farms in villages. Responden had to anwer some question from a questionaire. A structural interview was used by answering a questionaire. Result of the research indicated that farmers had many kind of livestock i.e. daity cows, local chickens, goats and sheeps. The role of women in the dairy fann waavery small. Altough married women had a role in all activities related to breeding, feeding and management, some activities which needed decisions , public activities and activities which needed specific skills dominated by men.
