Abstract

A control system is needed by a process for consistency of output with set point. Inconsistency output and set point is due to the existing of noises for the certain process. There are several kinds of controls as conventional and modern controls. In this research, we used discontinue conventional control that was on-off control and 3 automatics control such Proportional Control , Proportional Integral, Proportional Integral plus & Differential plus Controls receptively. All of these controls were implemented on personal computer that was applied for temperatures controls. Performance all of 4 control systems ware compared base on Time Delay Measurement (Td), race time (Tr), and maximum pass Time peak (Tp). Algorithms of these four controls were developed by using Pascal 7.0. By giving, the value of set point was 42.05°, we found that data as follow: On-Off control: Td = 36 second. Control P: Tr = 114 second, Td = 102 second and Mp=0.5°C control PI: Tr = 130 second, Td = 104 second and Mp=0.75°C control PID : Tr = 126 second, Td = 72 second and Mp=0.6°C From our results of time delay (Td), rice-time (Tr), and (Mp), its was concluded that P control, set point value was not found. PID control is best temperature control that compared with three other controls. PID control has fast response time, maximum pass smaller, and enough small osculation amplitude.
