Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan .untuk menduga daya cerna silase setaria sphacelata berdasarkan komposisi kimia dan seratnya. Percobaan ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Biometrika Peternakan, Fakultas Peternakan, Universitas Diponegoro. Penelitian ini terbagi rnenjadi dua (2) tahap : pertatna tahap pengumpulan data sekunder tentang komponen serat, komposisi kimia dan daya cerna silase setaria sphaeelata, kedua tahap pengolahan data untuk mencari hubungan antara daya cema dengan komponen kimia dan seratnya dengan analisis regresi. Hubungan antara 2 variabel (bivariat) dicari dengan uji linier sederhana, sedangkan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara daya cerna dengan komposisi kimia dan seratnya digunakan analisis regresi tinier berganda model Backward Stepwise dengan 40 ulangan. Basil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendugaan terbaik diperoleh pada hubungan antara kecernaan dengan komponen kimianya. Berdasarkan metode Backward Stepwise diperoleh persamaan Y = 147,983 — I fi 1 SK — 4,085 ABU (p < 0,01 dan r2 = 0,6406) untuk keeemaan bahan kering, dan Y = 110,613 — 1,26 SK — 1,854 ABU (p < 0,01 dan r2 = 0,3733) untuk kecemaan bahan organik. The aim of this experiment was to estimate of digestibility in setaria silage basy on the fiber and chemist compositions. The experiment was conducted in Animal Biometrich Laboratory of Animal Science Faculty, Diponegoro University. These experiment was divided to two stage are : the first was collected secunder data about fiber and chemist compositions, digestibility from setaria silage; second was analyzed data to find relation between digestibility with fiber and chemist cornpsitions from setaria with regression anlyze. The relation between two variabel (bivariat) was found with simple regression, althought sciatic n between digestibility with all fiber and chemist compositions was found with linier regression Backward Stepwise model in 40 tilangan. The result of the research showed that the best estimation was given from relation between digestibility and the chemist composition. The Backward Stepwise model showed that Y = 147, 983 — 1,61 Crude Fiber — 4,085 Ash (p < 0,01 and r2 = 0,6406) for digestibility dry matter, and Y = 110,613 — 1,26 Crude Fiber — 1,554 Ash ( p < 0,01 and r2 = 0,3733) for digestibility organic matter.
