PENGARUH PEMBERIAN PROPOXUR DOSIS BERTINGKAT PER ORALTERHADAP GAMBARAN HISTOPATOLOGI GINJAL MENCIT BALB/C

Abstract

Background : Propoxur is one of the kind of pesticide in carbamat group. It’s function for inseticide, fungicide, herbicide, nematocide and also for suicide purpose. The major excretion of Propoxur in intoxication victims generally via kidney, that may causes big change in kidney Objective : To Observe differences on histological appearance Kidney of Balb/c mice after administered of gradual dosage of Propoxur Method : The Experiment used The Post Only Control Group Design. There are 4 groups with 10 sample of mice each groups so there are total of 40 Balb/c male mice, with age of 8-9 weeks and weight of 20-25 gram. K is the control group, without being given any Propoxur. P1 is mice being given Propoxur orally ½ x 37mg KgBW. P2 is mice being given Propoxur orally 37mg/KgBW. P3 is mice being given Propoxur orally 2 x 37 mg/KgBW. Result : The adminestered of Propoxur altering the histological appearance of Balb/c mice’ kidney which is albuminosa degeneration. On statistical test of kidney damage there are significant differences between each groups with control and either between each groups one another Conclusion : The Propoxur gradual dosage are significantly affects to the damage of Kidney Keywords : Propoxur, Kidney, histopatological appearance
