Abstract

ABSTRACT Identification of Potensial Development in Slump Havens of Central Java The inadequate to run development of the urban (village) apparatus affect minimum capacity to identify all potential urban resources in fact, urban resources is an asset of develompment that potential if it is identified. This research is aim to identify the potency of urban resources which make use of accelerating its urban development. Thus, the research is hoped to give recommendation to development which competent in making use of departemnt which competent in making use of potential urban resources for the sake of development. The population in this research is villagers in slump havens of Central Java ie : Rembang, Demak & Grobogan. Each Kabupaten (district) is selected one kecamatan (sub district) that is accordingly Kecamatan Sarang, Bonang and Kedungjati. In each kecamatan, a village was chosen purposively that is Desa Bajingmeduro, Desa Kembangan ang Desa Deras. There are 30 respondents taken in each village with composition 4 formal public figure, 6 informal public figure, 20 common people by random sampling. The research use data analysis of cross tabulation and scoring methode. The result of this research refer to possibility to, develop potential urban resources in Kembangan that highligts husbandary (96,4%), agriculture (75%), home industry (57,1%), holticulture (40%) and fishery (32,1%). On the other hand, in Deras potential urban resources are husbandary (100%), agriculture (33,3%) and mining (6,7%). And Bajingmeduro has potential urban resources in home induatry (96,3%), husbandary (48,1%) and mining (11,1%). Potential human resources in each village surveyed is low (66,7%). Most of respondents are less educated and unskilled. The majority of respondents have a low social potency (63,3 %). A greates of their social involvement is limited on contibuting vigor. The low stage of income apparently correlates with their low social potency. The contribution of thoughts or that of goods in the development is relatively little. The problems that are found in developing the potency of natural resources are catastrophe (flood), narrow field, plant disease such problems can be solved by making irigation canals, diversification, farming efforts and good plant cultivation.
