HUBUNGAN PERILAKU REMAJA TENTANG KESEHATAN REPRODUKSI DENGAN AKTIVITAS SEKSUAL REMAJA DI DAERAH NELAYAN UJUNG BATU JEPARA

Abstract

Secara umum penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan perilaku (pengetahuan dan sikap) remaja tentang kesehatan reproduksi dengan aktivitas seksual remaja di dwirah nelayan Ujung Batu Jepara. Penelitian dari Mei hingga Nlopember 2005 ini telah dilakukan dengan jenis penelitian explanatory research, dan dengan metode survei cross sectional study (pendekatan belah lintang) pada 546 populasi dan 82 remaja (sampel) secara simple random sampling. Wawancara dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner tertutup berskala nominal dimana datanya diolah dengan uji statistik dengan alat bantu komputer Program SPSS for Windows. Pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa umumnya responden termasuk dalam kelompok umur 18-22 tahun (76.8%), berjenis kelamin laki-laki (53.7%) sebesar 43.9% tamat SD, dan 61% sudah bekerja. Persentase terbesar pengetahuan responden tentang kesehatan reproduksi adalah pengetahuan tidak baik yaitu sebesar 52.4%. Meski demikian Persentase terbesar sikap responden terhadap kesehatan reproduksi adalah sikap baik yaitu sebesar 54.9%. responden yang sudah/pernah mempunyai pacar 50.7%. Sedangkan untuk analisa lebih lanjut secara statistik diperoleh hasil bahwa idak ada hubungan antara pengetahuan tentang kesehatan reproduksi dengan aktivitas seksual (nilai p= 0.185 dan CI= 0.200% - 1.361%). Demikian pula tidak ada hubungan antara sikap terhadap kesehatan reproduksi dengan aktivitas seksualnya (nilai p= 0.181 dan CI= 0.202% - 1.366%). Dari basil penelitian tersebut maka perlu progam pemberian pendidikan kesehatan reproduksi khususnya mengenai seksualitas terhadap masyarakat khususnya remaja nelayan, terlebih dengan aktivitas seksual remaja yang cenderung bebas dan tidak terkontrol maka perlu dilakukan pelayanan konsultasi kesehatan reproduksi khususnya mengenai seksualitas. Hal ini perlu dilakukan mengingat upaya untuk mengubah perilaku mereka bukanlah hal yang mudah dan membutuhkan waktu yang cukup lama. The general purpose of this research is to analyse the correlation between adolescence behavior (knowledge and attitude) on reproductive health and sexual activity in coastal area Ujung Batu Jepara, central of Java. It could be an explanatory research that held on May to November 2005 using cross sectional study (survey methods) to 546 population dan 82 adolescence (sample) using simple random sampling method. Interview was based on nominal data of closed instrument or questionare, and statistically analysed using computer program on SPSS for Windows. The results show us that the most common adolescence in 18-22 years old (76.8%), most of the respondents are men (53.7%) and 43.9% graduated from Elementary School (tamat SD), dan 61% are just workers. More than a half (52.4%) the respondent knowledge of reproductive health is not good. But in the other hand the respondent attitude on reproductive health is welldone (54.9%). Half of them (50.7%) still or just have a courtship On the other hand -using statistical tool (SPSS)- it shows that there is no correlations between respondent knowledge of reproductive health and sexual activity (pvalue = 0.185 and CI= 0.200% - 1.361%). Also there is no correlations between respondent attitude of reproductive health and their sexual activity (p value = 0.181 and CI= 0.202% -1.366%). Due to the results, and there is hard to change to the health behavior and need long time to change them, we suggest to the government or local government, and also the NGO (Non Government Organization) to give them the education of health reproduction and sexuality, especially to the adolescence of coastal area. So they will grow up in health reproductive condition.
