Abstract

Motor bakar adalah mesin atau pesawat yang menggunakan energi termal untuk melakukan kerja mekanik, yaitu dengan cara merubah energi kimia dari bahan bakar menjadi energi panas, dan menggunakan energi tersebut untuk melakukan kerja mekanik. Energi termal diperoleh dari pembakaran bahan bakar pada mesin itu sendiri. Perakitan kembali mesin Mitshubishi Lancer 1300 cc yang sudah dimodifikasi untuk direkalkulasi ulang dan membandingkan pengaruh kelembaban terhadap temperatur gas buang dan konsumsi BBM, dengan berbagai macam variasi putaran mesin. Dengan menggunakan sistem tersebut diharapkan pengujian ini dapat mengetahui perbedaan saat kondisi normal dengan kondisi kelembaban yang berbeda-beda. Dari hasil pengujian dan analisa data tentang rekalkulasi diperoleh daya indikator 84,1336 HP dan daya efektif 71,5136 HP. Sedangkan dari analisa pengaruh kelembaban terhadap temperatur gas buang dan konsumsi bahan bakar dapat disimpulkan bahwa pada putaran 1300 rpm ke 1550 rpm mengalami penurunan konsumsi BBM dalam semua kondisi RH dan temperatur gas buang pada RH 50%, 55%, 60%, 65%, 70% rata-rata mengalami kenaikan. By using the system expected this examination can know the normal condition moment difference with the humidity condition which different each other. From examination result and analyse the data about recalculate obtained by a indicator energy 84,1336 HP and actual horsepower 71,5136 HP. While from analysis of dampness influence to gas temperature throw away and consume the inferential fuel that at rotation 1300 rpm to 1550 rpm experience of the degradation consume the BBM in all condition of RH and gas temperature throw away at RH 50%, 55%, 60%, 65%, 70% mean experience of increase.” Word keys : Combution engine, humidity, refined fuel oil
