KAJIAN KEBUTUHAN DAN PENYEDIAAN SEKOLAH MENENGAH KEJURUAN DI KABUPATEN REMBANG

Abstract

An autonomy policy support the regency to do development for increasing the progressing in all sectors, especially depending to the other regions. But, many regions haven’t could to realize the goals, because of some problems, example Rembang regency has geographic location that is difficult to find the water sources, infertile land, so society prosperity is low, and society skill is low to. To solve the problems, one of them is increased human resources and the human resources can be reached by encreasing society education. Raising education instrument is absolute to be needed but it must be based with need and ability of society and its environment (region potencial). Because of that, developed of education instrument that can give skill and competition. Is necessary at least it can give the benefits for increasing society prosperity. According to the condition, so Vocational Shool gives alternative solution with competition that used in society life. The purpose of this observation is to identificate the needs and the readiness of Vocational School in Rembang regency, are : interesting of Junior High Schoo’sl student, amount of Vocational School, labour market to absorb the alumnus of Vocational School, the kind of skill programme that is based with potential development of a region and spreading of school location. From the result of study that is received, can be conclused that Vocatonal Shool in Rembang regency haven’t could to catch the students interesting for continuing their education in Vocational Shool although almost of all Vocational Shool have been increasing the student standard capacity. Many Vocational School in Rembang regency develop the skill programme that follow the marketable trand. As the effect of big choice of society chooses Vocational School, probably skill programme that is gave for supprting the region development isn’t attacting people. A little of labour Vocational School alumnus that can be absorbed by industry on Rembang regency maybe because of the tradional method, especially industry that has sea raw materials. Catching level of Vocational School in form space of new classt in District of Lasem, Sedan, Pamotan, Sulang, Sale, Gunem and Kaliori. But, unit of new school must be made in Kragan and Sarang with Sea Result Capricing Technology Skill Programme as the form of sproading of education access in scheme of developing region in Rembang regency.
