Abstract

The characteristics of nonlinear optics of transparency media in a external magnetic field (B) have been studied. By applied B until 63 gauss, it has been concluded that the refractive index of water, NaCl-, MgSO4 -, sugar- and acetone acid-solution are decreased linearly if B is increased.. The change of refractive index of the material in dependence on B is obtained using Michelson Interferometer where our recent hypothesis shows a linear reduction of fringe number on magnetic field. This is in agreement to our experiment results that the difference phase changes in first order of B.
