Abstract
Tilapia culture needed sufficient quality and quantity feed. Qualitified feed can be evaluated from its nutrition at countent. One of the alternative feed that can be used is water hyacinth. Water hyacinth can be increased the content of nutrition through fermentation process with using Trichoderma sp. fungi. In this case that fungus degredation their selluloca become carbohidrat that more simple and dissolved by fish. The purpose of this research was to explore effect water hyacinth flour addition that have been fermented in artificial feed to growth, efficiency, function of feed, ratio efficiency protein, and nila that success to life. The method used in this research was experimental with scale laboratory. The design of treatment was full random design with five treatment and every treatment repeated as four times. Comparing between water hyacinth flour with bran flour in every that treatment A, B, C, D, and E as 0:100, 25:75, 50:50, 75:25, and 100:0%. Test fish used was nila germ with their weight 2 until 3 g. The weight of feed that given as 7% and total of fish biomassa weight. Fish is kept in bucket plastic which has volume 10 l with solid mater 1 tail/l. This research have been done in July and October. Variable that measured include relative growth average, feed using efficiency, ratio efficiency protein and success to life. Result of this research that addition of water hyacinth to feed give real effect (p<0,05) to relative growth average, feed using efficiency, ratio efficiency protein, and successful to life. RGR value in treatment C 6,03±0,15%/week. EPP value in treatment C, D 44,92±0,71%. PER value at treatment C 1,80±0,03 .successful to life each treatment B and C 77,50±5,00%. Key words: Water hyacinth, Fermentation, Trichoderma, Growth, Tilapia
