Abstract

Tujuan pelaksanaan tugas akhir ini adalah mengetahui karakteristik pompa tunggal dan mengetahui karaktristik pompa jika dirangkai seri atau paralel. Dengan cara pengaturan katup sisi tekan maka akan didapat bentuk-bentuk kurva pompa tunggal maupun dalam rangkaian seri atau paralel. Fluida kerja adalah air biasa. Untuk memperoleh variasi debit, katup sisi tekan bukaannya di variasikan dari 90° sampai 0° dengan rentang 9°. Dari hasil pengujian karakteristik pompa menggunakan fluida air pada susunan paralel dengan spesifikasi berbeda dapat diperoleh data sebagai berikut : debit maksimal 73 L/min, head total 18,3639 m dan debit terendah 0 L/min dengan head total 41,6575 m. Dari hasil percobaan disimpulkan bahwa pengoperasian pompa secara paralel diperoleh debit pompa besar dan didapat head total kecil. Kata kunci : Rangkaian paralel, karakteristik pompa, debit, head, air. The aim of this test to know charactheristic of each every pump and to know charactheristic pump it stringed up parallely by arangement of valve spilway depres. The material work is pure water. Afterward spilway at side throw away to be done by opening from 90° until 0° with range 9°. From result of test of pump charatheristic use water fluid at parallel formation with spesification different can be obtained by the following data : maximal debit is 73 L/ minute, totally head is 18,3639 m and lowest debit is 0 L/ minute with totally head 41,6575 m. From the result of test concluded that the pump operation parallely to be got by big pump debit and got by sub total head is low.
