HUBUNGAN ANTARA PAPARAN POLUSI UDARA DENCAN KAPASITAS VITAL PARU PADA PENYAPUJALAN DI KOTAMADYA SEMARANG

Abstract

The problem of this study want to know the relationships between air pollution exposure with lung vital capacity of the road sweeper's in Semarang city. The objectives arc want to Imows the air quality of Semarang city, want to know lung vital capacity of road sweeper 's in Semarang city, and the relationships between air pollution exposure with lung vital capacity of road swccpces , also to get a reference to prevent dan control work related disease of road sweeper's. An explanatory study and cross sectional methode,thia study select the road's which have high traffic or high density of vehicle and low density of vehicle those are Katamso street, Kompol Maksum street; Indraprasta street and Siliwangi street. The sample of road sweeper's which get with random sampling. There are 30road sweeper's. The criterion of the sample : ages between 20-55 years, who workwd upper 8 months, amoked or not smoked, and didn't have lung disease before like TBC, Bronchitis, Cardiac disease and other disease which increasing intra abdominal pressure.
