Abstract
Nowadays, handphone has been a part of society’s life style. The feature and product design became the basic adjustment about what kind of handphone to be choisen the best according them. That’s why the consumers often change their handphone. To see the move of consumer’s choice the analysis of Markov chain can be used. Mean while to see the closeness among objects, multivariables, the correlation between that variables and the advantage of each object the biplot analysis is employed. The research in Natural and Science Faculty of Diponegoro University shows that Nokia is the most covered brand by the consumers. It is chosen for its superiority in durability; its easy in operating, in finding the accessories, getting the signal, and also for its stable resale value. Key words: Markov chain, biplot, handphone brand.
