RANCANG BANGUN IQRA BRAILLE SEBAGAI MEDIA BANTU BELAJAR AL QURAN BRAILLE BERBASIS MIKROKONTROLER AT89S51

Abstract

The design system of Iqra Braille based on microcontroller AT89S51 was realized. This design system can make use for blind persons as helps media for studying and introducing a hijaiyyah font or iqra as based on studying an Al-Quran by self-supportingly. This system consists of a keyboard Arabic Braille, circuit of touch censor, circuit of system minimum microcontroller AT89S51, and serial communication series rs-232. This system worked when one of the Braille Arabian font at the keyboard Arabic Braille touched and then the enter button depressed. A touch censor circuit made for using IC 555 as a monostable multivibrator that took-out an output high pulse if the electrode plate of Arabic Braille font was touched. Then, a pulse output became a microcontroller high logic input. Microcontroller sent a data to computer by passed a serial communication. A sent data has related with an input of microcontroller-port. An output sound of hijaiyyah font from computer has related with an accepted data from microcontroller. This system has been succesed and realized, the system can take out a hijaiyyah font output sounds when Braille Arabian font at keyboard Arabic Braille touched. The hijaiyyah output sound has related with Arabic Braille font if that’s touched.
