Abstract
The increase Javanese trade accompanied the process of Javanese population migration to Dutch Colonial area. The trade activity was strengthened by a formal institutional for protecting political, economic and sosial interests. In Indonesian big cities such as Batavia, Semarang and Surabaya. The Japanese trade thrived due to the decrease of European trade. However, in the crisis periods the Japanese trade declined owing to the decrease of people’s buying capacity, it was only the Japanese imports such as textiles, glasses and bycycle which still survived. Actually most of the Japanese products were cheaper than the European products. According these Japanese products attracted Dutch people.
