Abstract
Sirsak adalah buah yang dapat tumbuh subur di Indonesia. Namun masyarakat kurang menaruh perhatian terhadap buah ini karena harganya murah. Permintaan akan produk olahan buah sirsak terus meningkat. Namun terjadi kendala dalam proses pemisahan biji dengan daging buahnya. Diperlukan suatu alat untuk memisahkan biji dan buah sirsak agar produktifitas meningkat dan lebih higienis. Perancangan alat pemisah biji dan buah sirsak memanfaatkan gaya sentrifugal sudu-sudu pemukul yang dilapisi karet. Penggerak yang digunakan adalah motor listrik 1 HP 1 phasa. Berbahan stainlees steel untuk menghindari korosi yang dapat merusak buah sirsak. Daging buah akan terperas oleh gesekan antar plat penggilas dengan alas yang berlubang.Hasil perasan tertampung pada bak penampung untuk dilanjutkan proses produksi selanjutnya. Dari hasil pengujian dan analisa data didapat : efisiensi mesin sebesar 66,42 % dan tingkat keberhasilan mesin sebesar 69,75 %. Diperlukan penyempurnaan desain untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan tingkat keberhasilan mesin. Sirsak is fruit which can grow up in Indonesia. But, people less in interest with this fruit because the price is cheap. The demand of sirsak product always increase. But, the problem occur in separation process between seed and fruit. Needful a device to separate seed and fruit in order to increase productivity and more hygienic. Design of seed and fruit winnow appliance make do sentrifugal force from hammer blade with rubber plated. 1 HP 1 phase electric motor are uses as activator. Stainless steel material are uses to avoid corrosion that can bit into the sirsak fruit. The flesh of frut will be pressed by friction between crusher plat and hole in base. The process result accommodated by places that receives to be continued to the next production process. From the result of experiment and the data analysis are getted : the machine efficiency as big as 66,42 % and machine success level as big as 69,75 %. Needful of finishing design to increasing efficiency and machine success level.
