Abstract

In this paper a mathematical model is proposed for a qualitative representative of nitrogen dynamics in the Polder Tawang Water. The model variables are the concentration of ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate. The model consists of three coupled ordinary differential equations. The model was calibrated to field data for the Polder Tawang Water. Further, simulation analysis is performed to find the maximal concentration of nitrogen and the stability of the proposed model. From the simulation results, the nitrite-nitrogen concentration is about 0.038 mg/L. It indicate that Polder Tawang water seriously polluted.
