PENGARUH FUNGSI BANGUNAN DAN ACTIVITY SUPPORT TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN KORIDOR (Studi Kasus: Jl. Letjend. Suprapto Kota Semarang)

Abstract

The Phenomena that happened in old town area in this time is the activity only live at day time. While at night its become a dead city. This matter caused by a building function in old town almost represent office activity which only operating from morning till evening. Location of research study in old town area (Corridor of Letjend Suprapto) specified as cultural segment, and inclusive of preservation and conservation area so that the form of buildings has to be defended such as the genuiness although the building function can be changes from function of initially. But in the practically just a little investor which will to do commercial activity in study area, this matter caused by a many regulations tighten to activity which take place in this area. Despitefully the geographical in the old town area is inclusive of district with face of ground water is the same to face irrigate sea so that often be happened by floods. Used by metode research is Post Positivistik Rasionalistik with technique analyse used test of correlation of bivariate t-Pearson and supported by descriptively qualitative. Correlation test used for knowing there is or not the relation between variable function of building and activity support with the growth of corridor Jl. Letjend Suprapto, while t- Pearson represent appliance to measure the level of the relation by using sampel distribution ( parametric). The conclusion from this research is there is an influence between function of building and activity support with growth of corridor Jl. Letjend Suprapto. The level of Influence from each variable which tested is very immeasurable, but the variable which have a most effect on to growth of corridor Jl. Letjend Suprapto is commercial activity.
