Abstract
Background : cancer patients have decreased immune system due to suppression by cancer cells and systemic therapy. Transfer factor is oligoribonukleotida that improve the memory function of T cell and the amount of NK cell. It still controversial whether TF has capability in reducing cells proliferation and the tumor volume. Purposes : to analyze the effects of cyclophosphamid-transfer factor on cells proliferation and the volume of mice adeno Ca mammae tumor. Methods : experimental laboratory research has been done by “ post test only control group design “ .Twenty female pure C3H mice were devided into four groups: K as a control group, P2 given the cyclophosphamid, P3 given the transfer factor and P4 given the cyclophosphamid – transfer factor combination. As a dependent variable were cells proliferation ( AgNOR ) and tumor volume. ANOVA test was used to analyze the differences of cells proliferation (AgNOR ) and tumor volume among the four groups with 0,05 significance level. Results : The difference of cells proliferation ( AgNOR) was p=< 0,001. There were differences among the four groups. The difference of tumor volume was p=0,086. There were no differences among the four groups. Correlation number between cells proliferation (AgNOR ) and tumor volume was 0,496 value with the significant level 0,026. There is a substansial correlation between cells proliferation ( AgNOR ) and tumor volume. The influence of cells proliferation (AgNOR ) to tumor volume was 20,4% and 79,6% tumor volume was influenced by other factors that hasn’t been conducted in this research. Conclusion : cyclophosphamid-transfer factor has a synergistic effect to the cells proliferation tumor Latar belakang : penderita kanker mengalami penurunan respon imun akibat supresi sistem imun oleh sel kanker dan modalitas terapi sistemik.
