PENGEMBANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI PELAYANAN KESEHATAN IBU DAN BAYI UNTUK MENDUKUNG EVALUASI PROGRAM KESEHATAN IBU DAN ANAK ( KIA ) DI PUSKESMAS KABUPATEN LAMONGAN

Abstract

The system of information service about the health of mother and baby in Lamongan Public Health Center in Lamongan regency had a problem in collecting data. The data were recorded in more than one book. The institution had not used computerized system yet to store the data. So, when the data are needed to be reported, the institution finds difficulty to collect them because they are recoded in many books. As a result, it cannot report them on time. This research uses qualitative and quantitative method. The qualitative method is used to assist the process identify in each step in methodologies of system development. Based on the methodology, it is hopefully, at the end is able to design about a system of information to service of providing the data about the health of mother and baby. It will be used to support to evaluate the service about the Medicare of mother and child in Lamongan Public Health Centre. Moreover, it is also used to evaluate the quality of the information before and after the system is used. The result of the research indicates that the computerize system is able to overcome the problems deal with previous system. It can bee seen, there is a significant progress in average overall. When Lamongan Public Health Center uses a system of collecting data manually, the result of the evaluation is about 2,78 On the other hand, after developing computerize system, the average increases up to 2,94. It can be concluded that there is a significant progress of quality service using the computerize system. That’s why, the research suggests to use computerize system to service any information, particularly information about the service of the Medicine health for mother and baby. The information about it can be browsed in internet by using Local Area Network (LAN) Kegiatan sistem informasi berbasis komputer pada pelayanan kesehatan ibu dan bayi di Puskesmas Kabupaten Lamongan terdapat permasalahan yaitu berupa masukan (input) melalui kegiatan pengumpulan data yang dicatat dalam lebih dari satu register dan pada proses belum menggunakan manajemen basis data serta luaran (output) berupa informasi laporan bulanan yang dilaporkan tidak tepat waktu. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan sistem informasi pelayanan kesehatan ibu dan bayi di puskesmas untuk mendukung evaluasi program KIA di Puskesmas Kabupaten Lamongan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dan kuantitatif, Metode kualitatif pada penelitian ini digunakan untuk membantu proses identifikasi pada setiap tahapan dalam metodologi pengembangan sistem yaitu sistem informasi pelayanan kesehatan ibu dan bayi yang dapat digunakan untuk mendukung evaluasi program Kesehatan ibu dan anak di puskesmas Kabupaten Lamongan. Metode kuantitatif digunakan untuk mengevaluasi kualitas informasi sebelum dan sesudah pengembangan sistem inforrmasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil uji coba sistem informasi yang dikembangkan, mampu mengatasi permasalahan yang berhubungan dengan kualitas informasi sistem meliputi : ketersediaan data dan informasi, kesesuaian informasi, ketepatan waktu pelaporan, dan keakuratan informasi. Hal ini terlihat dari nilai rata-rata tertimbang secara keseluruhan sebelum pengembangan sistem .2.78 dan setelah pengembangan sistem adalah 2.94. dengan selisih 0.16 Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada peningkatan kualitas informasi yang dihasilkan setelah pengembangan sistem. Penelitian ini menyaran antara lain bahwa aplikasi program sistem informasi pelayanan kesehatan ibu dan bayi yang telah dikembangkan dengan memaksimalkan penggunaan Local Area Network (LAN) dan pemanfaatannya di Puskesmas seluruh Kabupaten Lamongan karena program tersebut disiapkan untuk multi user dan berbasis web.
