Abstract
Di negara berkembang seperti Indonesia, isu kualitas lingkungan menjadi suatu permasalahan nasional yang perlu dicari jalan pemecahannya. Sentra industri tepung tapioka merupakan salah satu sentra industri kecil yang cukup potensial, juga menghasilkan air limbah sebagai hasil sampingannya yang dibuang langsung ke badan air tanpa melalui pengolahan terlebih dahulu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara jarak sumur gali dengan pembuangan limbah pabrik tepung tapioka terhadap kadar sianida (CN) dalam air sumur gali. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dan analisis laboratorium. Jenis penelitian adalah explanatory dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi adalah sumur gali yang ada di desa Ngemplak Kidul kecamatan Margoyoso kabupaten Pati, sebanyak 50 buah. Sedangkan sampel adalah air sumur gali sejumlah 33 buah. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa 67% air sumur gali yang diteliti mengandung positif kadar sianida. Kandungan sianida berkisar pada kadar 0,009 - 0,100 mg/lt. Sedangkan kandungan sianida tertinggi terdapat pada jarak 8 m dari pembuangan limbah. Dari hasil uji korelasi product moment diperoleh nilai r = -0,920, menunjukkan arah hubungan negatif sangat kuat dan p value 0,000 < 0,05 yang berarti bahwa ada hubungan antara jarak sumur gali dengan pembuangan limbah pabrik tepung tapioka terhadap kadar sianida. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa jarak sumur gali ke pembuangan limbah berkisar antara 7 - 90 m, pada jarak > 40 m sumur gali dari sungai tidak ditemukan lagi kandungan sianida dalam air sumur gali penduduk. Dari 67% sumur gali yang mengandung sianida, ada 39% sumur gali yang melebihi persyaratan yang diperbolehkan sesuai SK Menkes RI No.907/Menkes/SK/VII/2002 tentang syarat-syarat dan pengawasan kualitas air minum sebesar 0,07 mg/lt. Saran-saran yang dikemukakan adalah (1) air limbah sebelum dibuang ke badan air terlebih dahulu mengalami proses pengolahan, (2) sumur yang mengandung kadar sianida melebihi persyaratan sebaiknya tidak dipergunakan air sumur tersebut baik sebagai air minum atau air bersih, (3) perlu dilakukan peningkatan pengetahuan penduduk melalui upaya penyuluhan, khususnya yang berkaitan dengan air bersih, dan (4) perlu dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai temuan jarak sumur gali dengan kadar sianida. Research type is explanatory with approach of cross sectional. Population is well dig exist in countryside of Ngemplak Kidul Sub Region Margoyoso Pati District, as much 50 topic. While sampel is well water dig an amount of 33 topic. Collected to data cover data of promary and data sekunder. From research result known that by 67% well water dig checked to contain positive of cyanide rate. Cyanide content centre around rate 0,009 - 0,100 mg/lt. Obstretical while highest cyanide there are at distance 8 m from waste dismissal. From result test correlation of product moment obtained by value r = -0,920, showing very strong negative relations direction and p value 0,000 = 0,05 which the meaning that there is relation of between well distance dig with dismissal of waste of factory of flour tapioka to cyanide rate. Conclusion from this research that well distance dig to waste dimissal range from 7 - 90 m, at distance > 40 m well dig from river is not found again the cyanide content in well water dig resident. From 67% well dig containing cyanide, there is 39% well dig exceeding conditions which according to SK Menkes RI No.907/Menkes/SK/VII/2002. Suggestion-proposed by suggestions is (1) waste water of before thrown to body irrigate beforehand experience of processing process, (2) well containg cyanide rate exceed condition shall not be utilized by a good the well water as drinking water or clean water, (3) need conducted by improvement of resident knowledge of through counselling effort, specially related to clean water and (4) need conducted by a futhermore research hit finding apart well dig with cyanide rate.
