ANALISIS PENGARUH COLLABORATIVE TECHNOLOGIES TERHADAP KINERJA PERUSAHAAN MELALUI ORIENTASI PENGGUNAAN INTRANET (Studi Pada Perusahaan Jasa Dan Manufaktur di Pulau Jawa)

Abstract

The aim of this research was to test empirically the influence of collaborative technologies on firm performance through intranet use orientation (e-information, ecommunication and e-transaction). Whereas the application of collaborative technologies consisted of two groups; they were electronic communicatioin system (ECS) and teamwork system (TS). From those two groups, the researh was focused on four categorizes, consisting of discussion forum, share database, repositories and workflow. Whereas the field research, was obtained by mail survey method, and was sent to services and manufactures company in Java, which had been implementing intranet technologies. The respondent􀂶s choice was focused on the Director (CEO) or the branch chief, Operational Manager, Personal Manager, Finance Manager and IT/EDP manager. Analytical tools used in this research were ANOVA and Regression. The result showed that only discussion forum, share databased, and workflow variable had significantly the relationship with the intranet use orientation variable (einformation, e-communication and e-transaction). Whereas repositories variable was not related directly to the intranet use orientation variable. Partially the t-test result, showed that the e-information and e-communication variable did not significantly influence the firm performance. However, the e-transaction had significant influence at 0.05 with the probability of 0.07. From the calculation, we could conclude that the increase of firm performances was more directly influenced by e-transaction. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menguji secara empiris pengaruh collaborative technologies terhadap kinerja perusahaan melalui orientasi penggunaan intranet (einformation, e-communication dan e-transaction). Sedangkan aplikasi dari collaborative technologies terbagi dalam dua kelompuk yakni electronic communicatioin system (ECS) dan teamwork system (TS). Dari kedua kelompok tersebut difokuskan menjadi empat kategori, yang terdiri dari forum diskusi, share database, repositories dan workflow. Sedangkan penelitian dilapangan, diperoleh dengan metode mail survey, yang dikirimkan kepada perusahaan jasa dan manufaktur di Pulau Jawa, yang telah mengimplementasikan teknologi intranet. Pilihan responden diproksikan kepada Direktur (CEO) atau Kepala Cabang, Manajer Operasional, Manajer Personalia, Manajer Keuangan/Administrasi dan Manajer IT/EDP. Alat analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah ANOVA dan Regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hanya variabel forum diskusi, share databased, dan workflow yang secara signifikan memiliki hubungan dengan variabel orientasi penggunaan intranet (e-information, e-communication dan e-transaction). Sedangkan variabel repositories tidak berhubungan langsung dengan variabel orientasi penggunaan intranet. Secara parsial hasil uji-t, membuktikan bahwa variabel einformation dan e-communication tidak signifikan pengaruhnya terhadap kinerja perusahaan. Namun demikian untuk variabel e-transaction memiliki pengaruh signifikan pada 0,05 dengan probabilitas sebesar 0,07. Dari perhitungan ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa peningkatan kinerja perusahaan (firm performance) lebih banyak dipengaruhi langsung oleh e-transaction.
