Abstract

So far, the object condition of PAI Tegal tourism is still far from the expectation. It could be seen from tourists who visit to PAI Tegal downdraft. It should get critical intention because it becomes yardstick from un-conformability of tourist’s demand with tourism attraction availability. This study aim is to identify tourism attraction overcome in PAI Tegal that is appropriate with tourist’s desire, with examination target of tourism attraction, examination for supply and demand of tourism attraction in PAI Tegal, comparison examination of supply-demand tourism in PAI Tegal, also concludes, recommends and overcomes for tourism attraction and infrastructures of tourism object in PAI Tegal. The study approaches are quantitative method – Two steps questionnaire, with research instruments formed as questionnaire via two steps. Sampling performed using cluster random sampling method with respondents sources are related with agency, business perpetrator and tourists, each amount are 10 people. The results show that there is un-conformability between supply and demand in several tourism attraction and supporting infrastructures in PAI Tegal. Therefore, tourism attraction in PAI Tegal should improve appropriate with visitor desire, so that visitors would be increase. Besides, there are many un-conformability between supply and demand such as 3 types from 6 types of nature attraction, 4 from 8 types of cultural attraction, 4 from 9 human attraction types and 29 from 31 types. The attraction, which appropriate with tourist’s desire are trees, guides, beach, firmament boundary, puppets, sea, dance, music concert, race, baritan tradition/sedekah laut, exercises, also fishing activities. While, the existing infrastructure that are parking area, tourism boat, open podium, restaurant, souvenir shop, playing park, street infrastructure, view dock/bridge, maritime monument, organizer office, also main gate. Tourists asking are for new attraction and infrastructure, includes: Typical vegetation (coconut palm and cassia alata), Birds park, and Rent animal rides (Elephant, Horse, and Camel), Religious ceremony, (Mauludan, balo-balo and pecun), Automotive exercises, East side gate, Mini train station gate, Organizer office, Swimming pool, Bathes pool, Fishing pool, Water boom, Water pedicab, Motor/oar boat, and, etc), Traffic park, Mini train, Oceanography museum, Closed entertainment podium, Adrift cafeteria/restaurant, Shop-house, Information, and healthy room, Encampment zone, Telecommunication facility, Toilet facility/MCK, Transportation, Public transportation basis and Tourism police station. Kondisi obyek wisata PAI Tegal sampai sejauh ini masih jauh dari harapan. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari menurunnya jumlah wisatawan yang berkunjung ke PAI Tegal yang seharusnya patut mendapat perhatian serius karena merupakan salah satu tolok ukur dari adanya ketidaksesuaian antara permintaan wisatawan dengan ketersediaan atraksi wisata yang ada. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penanganan atraksi wisata di PAI Tegal yang sesuai dengan keinginan wisatawan, dengan sasaran kajian atraksi wisata, kajian supply dan demand atraksi wisata di PAI Tegal, kajian perbandingan supply-demand atraksi wisata di PAI Tegal, serta penarikan kesimpulan dan merekomendasikan penanganan atraksi wisata dan sarana/ prasarana di obyek wisata PAI Tegal. Pendekatannya menggunakan metode Quantitative – Two Steps Question-nare, dengan instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner melalui dua tahap. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode cluster random sampling dengan responden terdiri dari instansi terkait, pelaku usaha dan wisatawan, dengan jumlah masing-masing sebanyak 10 orang. Hasilnya didapatkan bahwa terdapat ketidak-sesuaian antara supply dan demand pada beberapa atraksi wisata dan sarana/ prasarana pendukung di PAI Tegal. Oleh karena itu perlu ditingkatkan atraksi wisata di PAI Tegal yang sesuai dengan keinginan pengunjung agar jumlah pengunjung dapat terus meningkat. Selain itu terdapat pula ketidak-sesuaian antara supply dan demand pada 3 dari 6 jenis atraksi alam, 4 dari 8 jenis atraksi kebudayaan, 4 dari 9 jenis atraksi manusia dan 29 dari 31 jenis sarana/prasarana pendukung. Atraksi wisata yang sesuai dengan kehendak wisatawan, yaitu: pohon perindang, pramuwisata, pantai, batas cakrawala, wayang, laut, tarian, jathilan, pameran/ bazaar, akrobat/ sirkus, suvenir khas, makanan khas, pentas musik, perlombaan, tradisi baritan/ sedekah laut, olah raga, serta aktivitas nelayan/ memancing. Sedangkan untuk sarana/ prasarana eksistingnya yaitu: area parkir, perahu wisata, panggung terbuka, warung makan, toko suvenir, taman bermain, prasarana jalan, dermaga pandang/ anjungan, monumen bahari, kantor pengelola, serta pintu gerbang utama. Wisatawan juga menghendaki atraksi-atraksi dan sarana/ prasarana baru, yaitu meliputi: tanaman khas (pohon kelapa dan ketapang), taman burung dan binatang tunggangan sewa (gajah, kuda dan onta), upacara keagamaan (mauludan, balo-balo dan pe cun), olah raga otomotif, pintu gerbang sisi timur, pintu gerbang stasiun kereta mini, sarana/ prasarana pengelola, kolam renang, kolam rendam, kolam pancing, permainan air (waterboom, becak air, perahu motor/ dayung, dan sebagainya), taman lalu lintas, kereta mini, museum oceanografi, panggung hiburan tertutup, cafetaria/ restoran terapung, ruko, ruang informasi dan kesehatan, area perkemahan, fasilitas telekomunikasi, fasilitas toilet/ MCK, transportasi, pangkalan angkutan umum dan pos polisi pariwisata.
