Abstract

A research on the resolution of dark and light pattern of visible lights in multiple slit inteference has been conducted. The slit’s used were of 2 slit’s, 3 slits, 4 slits and 8 slit’s with spacing between slits is 0,0009 m and 0,00042 m. Interference pattern on the screen in obtained by firing monochromatic (He-Ne laser and Diode laser) followed by polychromatic light source upon the slit’s. The results show that monochromatic light produce interference pattern that matched its emited wavelengths while polychromatic light produce pattern of a rainbow type. Wider slit’s results in widen spectrum where as move slits results in narrower and more intensive patterns.
