Abstract
The characteristics of nonlinear optics of transparency media in a strong electric field (E) have been studied. By applied E for several million volts/m, it has been obtained that the refractive index of glass, quartz, KDP, and KD*P are linearly dependent from E, and the other hand quadratic dependent from E for water, nitrobenzene, and nitro toluene. The change of refractive index of the material is then used to calculate Reflectance and Transmittance at visible light (l=632,8 nm), which its propagation assumed to be perpendicular to the direction of E field. The variation of field from 0-100 MV/m just contributed very small change of  and Á. Theoretically, a drastically change of  and Á was obtained significantly for very large electric field, i.e. in the order of 1012 V/m for quartz, KDP, and KD*P. And the other hand, it needed in order of 109 V/m for water, nitro toluene, and nitro benzene.
