ANALISIS AKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUIH KONSENTRASI SPASIAL INDUSTRI MANUFAKTUR BESAR DAN SEDANG DI PROVINSI JAWA BARAT

Abstract

ABSTRACT The objective ofthis research lies in the observation offactors that have influence spatial concentration ofmanufacture industry especially at medium and large manufacture industry in West Java. Having Ordinary Least Square (OLS) as the analytical method, this research used the concentration of medium and large manufacture industry as the dependent variable and input cost, labour cost, economies of scab, foreign investment rate, monopolistic competitive market, income per capita; and dummy of24 subprovince at West Java Province as the independent variables. This research performed a secondary data analysis from the year 2000- 2006 taken from West Java Statistical Center Board (BPS), West .,lava Investment Coordinating Board (BKP", West Java Agency of Industry (Disperin), and other institutions that having relations to the research. Estimated using Ordinary Least Square (OLS) aproximation in Eviews 6, the R2 showed in this research is 0,919894 which means that spatial concentration variable explained 91,9894%, then the rest is 8,0106016 explained by other variables outside the model. The F-test is 55,12048 with the probability 0, 000 proved has significant influence between input cost, labour cost, economies of scale, foreign investment rate, monopolistic competitive market, and income per capita to the spatial concentration. While partial test result showed variables that proven has influence to the spatial concentration of medium and large manufacture industry are input cost, labour cost, economies of scale, foreign investment rate, monopolistic competitive market, and dummy Regency of Rurwakarta. And this research have found that input cost variable, dummy Regency of Bogor, dummy Regency of Sukabumi, dummy Regency of Cianjur, dummy Regency of Bandung, dummy Regency of Garut, dummy Kabupatan fasikmalaya, dummy Regency of Ciamis, dummy Regency of Kuningan, dummy Regency of Cirebon, dummy Regency of Majalengka, dummy Regency of Sumedang, dummy Regency of Indramayu, dummy Regency of Subang, dummy Regency ofKarawang, dummy City of Bogor, dummy City ofSukabumi, dummy City ofBandung, dummy City of Cirebon, dummy City ofMan dummy City of Pepoh dummy City of Cimahi, dummy City of Tasikmalaya, dam dummy City of Banjar do not have an elect to spatial concentration of medium and large manufacture industry in West Java Province. .Keywords: The concentration of the industrial sector of manufacturing in West Java, input cost, labour cost, economies of scale, foreign investment rate, monopolistic competitive market, income per capita
