PENGARUH KOMITE AUDIT, KUALITAS AUDIT DAN PERTUMBUHAN PERUSAHAAN TERHADAP PERINGKAT OBLIGASI

Abstract

This research aims at providing empirical evidence on factors that affect obligation rating prediction. Specifically, this research investigated whether audit committee, audit quality and growth affect thefirm's bond rating in Indonesia. This research Involves bonds listed In Indonesia Stock Exchange 2004-2007, specifically rated by PT PEFINDO. This samples of this research consist of 145 bondsfrom 31firms. Ordinal logit regression is usedto test the hypothesis Usingfirms size and debt to equity ratio as controlling variable, this research found that thefirm's bond rating is: (1) not significant with the audit committee ; (2) negatively significant with the quality audit; (3) positively significant with the firm's growth.
