Abstract

Bank Indonesia has try to move Indonesia banking industry towards better passed implementation ofprograms Arsitektur Perbankan Indonesia (API), either as initiator and activator. As initiator, Indonesia Bank has published regulation and rule that banking industry can execute in business activity in prudent, refers to international standard and more paying attention to client rights. Meanwhile as activator Bank Indonesia strives intertwining it constructive cooperation with the side ofrelated to programs ANto yield a stimulantfor realized [by] it healthy banking system, strong, and efficient. Since January 2004, there is one of regulation in API obliging banking to have above legal capital Rp. 80 billions expected will be obeyed with the happening ofamalgamation ofcompany. Using analytical method Wilcoxon singed rank test, financial ratios applied as comparison method of banking standard performance between before and after mergers. Next, Method MANOVA depicts how strongfinancial ratios in influencing alteration ofperformance happened Result of testing applies Wilcoxon signed rank test shows inexistence of difference significant between performances before and after the happening of merger, good at time line t-1 with t+1 and t-2 with t+2. While at testing by using MANOVA, inferential that performance banking not show there are no difference significant at all financial ratios. From result of research is inferential that merger done by national banking passed merger unable to show existence of repair ofperformance between before and after doing ofmerger. Keyword.
