KAJIAN FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PENENTUAN LOKASI TRANSFER DEPO SAMPAH (TDS) DI KOTA SLAWI KABUPATEN TEGAL

Abstract

Permasalahan penentuan lokasi prasarana persampahan khususnya Transfer Depo adalah masalah rumit jika menyangkut kepentingan bermacam pihak yakni komponen masyarakat kota dan pemerintah daerah. Keberadaannya harus dapat diterima dan memenuhi kepentingan semua pihak, serta dalam tinjauan pembangunan berwawasan lingkungan ternyata Transfer Depo dipandang lebih baik dibanding dengan cara sistem konvensional berupa komunal Tempat Pembuangan Sampah (TPS). Sehingga sangat menarik dilihat, maka penelitian ditujukan guna menemukenali dan mengkaji faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penentuan lokasi Transfer Depo Sampah Kota Slawi. Analisis keselarasan dan tabulasi silang dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan merumuskan faktor-faktor penentu lokasi Transfer Depo Sampah berdasarkan pendapat masyarakat dan aparat pemerintah di Kota slawi Kabupaten Tegal, dengan sasaran penelitian pertama mengetahui kajian TDS berdasarkan SNI (Standar Nasional Indonesia), kedua mengkaji faktor-faktor dimaksud diatas dengan memperhatikan karakteristik masyarakat kota dan berdasarkan pendapat aparat pemerintah serta menentukan asosiasi dan dominasi faktor-faktor dari penentuan peringkatnya. Keduabelas faktor yang didapatkan dari kajian pustaka, berdasarkan penelitian hanya sembilan faktor yang mempengaruhi penentuan lokasi TDS, karakteristik masyarakat yang beragam tidak mempengaruhi penilaian atas faktor-faktor tersebut tetapi yang banyak menentukan penilaian faktor adalah masyarakat yang berasal dari wiraswasta/swasta, berpendapatan cukup, tinggi pendidikannya, penerapan pengetahuan lingkungan melalui pengumpulan sampah dari bak sampah hingga transfer depo, sering menginginkan hidup bersih, kebanyakan beragama islam, tetangga berdekatan, dan sering hadir di pertemuan kepedulian lingkungan.
