Abstract
Ketep View which is lies in Ketep village, Sawangan District, Magelang regency growing to be a famous tour object. As the result, the demand of fresh water grows too. The need of fresh water can be fulfilled among other thing by knowing ground water. It can be known by investigation of its hydrogeology. The condition of hydrogeology can be understood by varying methods, either water surface methods or subsurface methods. One of familiar subsurface methods to understand of aquifer is a geoelectric sounding method. With this method, aquifer in Ketep area assumed as pebby Sandstone material which is lies in KTP 09 monitor point in Soblom, Banyuroto village Sawangan district on 36 meters to 60 meters. The resistivity of this layer is 35.6 Ω meter. Keyword : geoelectric sounding, aquifer
