ANALISIS PENYERAPAN TENAGA KERJA PADA INDUSTRI KECIL (Studi di Industri Kecil Mebel di Kota Semarang)

Abstract

Perluasan kesempatan kerja merupakan usaha untuk mengembangkan sektorsektor yang mampu menyerap tenaga kerja. Usaha penyerapan tenaga kerja tidak terlepas dari faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya, seperti perkembangan jumlah penduduk dan angkatan kerja, pertumbuhan ekonomi, tingkat produktivitas tenaga kerja dan kebijaksanaan mengenai penyerapan tenaga kerja itu sendiri. Di samping itu perluasan penyerapan tenaga kerja juga tidak mengabaikan usaha-usaha lain yang mampu memberikan produktivitas yang lebih tinggi melalui berbagai program. Salah satu cara untuk memperluas penyerapan tenaga kerja adalah melalui pengembangan industri terutama industri yang bersifat padat karya. Perkembangan dapat terwujud melalui investasi swasta maupun pemerintah. Pengembangan industri tersebut akan menyebabkan kapasitas produksi meningkat sehingga dapat menciptakan kesempatan kerja Dalam penelitian ini menganalisis penyerapan tenaga kerja pada industri kecil mebel di kota Semarang dengan menggunakan metode analisis regresi berganda. Datadata yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data angkatan kerja yang bekerja di Kota Semarang pada sektor industri kecil, data UMK Semarang yang bersumber dari BPS Propinsi Jawa Tengah, Produktivitas, modal dan non upah. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan SPSS versi 12.0 yang menunjukan bahwa variabel (upah (X1), produktivitas (X2), modal (X3) dan non upah (X4)) baik secara parsial maupun secara bersama-sama terhadap variabel terikat (penyerapan tenaga kerja (Y)). Hal ini dapat ditentukan dengan hasil uji t untuk mengetahui pengaruh secara parsial dan uji F (simultan) untuk mengetahui pengaruh secara bersama-sama. Besar pengaruh variabel (upah (X1), produktivitas (X2), modal (X3) dan non upah (X4)) terhadap variabel terikat (penyerapan tenaga kerja (Y)) sebesar 74,1% sedangkan sisanya 25,9% diterangkan oleh faktor yang lain The extension of job opportunity is an effort to develop some divisions that potentially recruited workers. One of the ways to enlarge the recruitment of workers is by developing industry mainly industry which focuses on work production. The development can be achieved with either government or non-government investments. The development of the mentioned industry raises the capacity of the production so it can make job opportunities. This study analyzes the recruitment of the workers in the small industry especially Furniture in Semarang using doubled-regression analysis method. The data required in this study are data of potential workers in Semarang in small industry, data of Minimum Wages (UMK) Semarang, which are obtained from BPS Central Java Province, productivity, capital, and non-wages. According to the result of SPSS 12.0 Version analysis shows those variables of Wages (X), Productivity (X2), Capital (X3), and non-Wages (X4) either partially or fully on attached variable (the recruitment of workers (Y)). This can be determined by the result of t test to find the effect partially and test F (simultan) to find the effect fully at the same time. The effect of variables (Wages (X1), Productivity (X2), Capital (X3) and non- Wages (X4) on the affixed variable (the recruitment of workers (Y)) is 74.1% while the rest is 25.9% being explained by other factors.
