Abstract
ABSTRAK Tujuan percobaan ini adalah mengevaluasi suplemen sabun mineral, minerl organic, dan kacang kedelai sangrai pada kecernaan nutrient dan lemak serum domba. Tiga puluh dua ekor domba Garut (bobot badan awal 22,38±3,56 kg) dikelompokkan berdasarkan bobot badan (empat kelompok). Percobaan dilakukan berdasarkan Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan delapan perlakuan. Perlakuan tersebut adalah MI: ransum basal + minyak ikan, MJ: ransum basal + minyak jagung; CaMI: ransum basal + sabu kalsium minyak ikan; CaMJ: ransum basal + sabun kalsium minyak jagung; ZnMI: ransum basal + sabun zink minyak ikan; ZnMJ: ransum basal + sabun zink minyak jagung; KS: ransum basal + kedelai sangrai; CM: ransum basal + campuran mineral (Zn, Cu, Cr, dan Se organik). Hasil percobaan menunjukkan kecernaan bahan organik ransum MI, MJ, CaMI, dan KS lebih tinggi (p<0,01) dibandingkan dengan ransum CaMJ, ZnMI, ZnMJ, dan CM. Kecernaan protein ransum MJ, CaMI, KS, dan CM lebih tinggi (p<0, 01) dibandingkan dengan ransum MI, CaMJ, ZnMI, dan ZnMJ. Kecernaan lemak ransum MI, CaMI, CaMJ, dan ZnMJ lebih tinggi (p<0,01) dibandingkan dengan ransum MJ, ZnMI, KS, dan CM. Pemberian ransum MJ, CaMI, CaMJ, dan KS meningkatkan (p<0,01) kecernaan serat ransum pada domba. Ransum CaMI, CaMJ, dan KS menurunkan kolesterol serum domba (p<0,01) dan triasilgliserol (p<0,05). Jenis ransum tidak mempengaruhi kadar LDL serum domba, sementara ransum MJ, CaMI, CaMJ, ZnMJ, dan KS menurunkan (p<0,01) HDL serum domba. Sabun kalsium minyak ikan meningkatkan kecernaan nutrien ransum, sedangkan sabun zink tidak efektif memproteksi lemak sehingga menurunkan kecernaan serat. Lemak yang diproteksi oleh sabun kalsium menurunkan komponen lemak serum domba. Lemak atau asam lemak yang diproteksi dari mikroba rumen dapat menghemat energi untuk perpanjangan asam lemak sehingga dapat meningkatkan produktivitas domba. Kata kunci: sabun, minyak,mineral, kedelai sangrai, domba ABSTRACT The objective of this study was to evaluate mineral soap, organic mineral, roasted soybeans supplementations to nutrient digestibility and serum fat of sheep. Thirty two Garut Sheep ( initial weight 22.38 ± 3.56 kg) were assigned into a completely block randomized design with 8 treatments. Body weight was used as a block (4 blocks). The treatments were MI: basal diet + fish oil, MJ: basal diet + corn oil; CaMI: basal diet + calcium soap of fish oil; CaMJ: basal diet + calcium soap of corn oil; ZnMI: basal diet + zinc soap of fish oil; ZnMJ: basal diet + zinc soap of corn oil; KS: basal diet + roasted soya bean; CM: basal diet + mixed mineral (Zn, Cu, Cr, and Se-organic). The experimental diets were given for 8 weeks. The result of this study showed that organic matter digestibity of MI, MJ, CaMI and KS diets were higher (p<0.01) than CaMJ, ZnMI, ZnMJ, and CM diets. Protein digestibility of MJ, CaMI, KS, and CM diets were higher (p<0.01) than MI, CaMJ, ZnMI, and ZnMJ diets. Fat digestibility of MI, CaMI, CaMI,and ZnMJ diets were higher (p<0.01) than MJ, ZnMI, KS, and CM diets. The feeding MJ, CaMI, CaMJ and KS increased (p<0.01) the fiber diet digestibility in sheep. Calcium soap of fish oil (CaMI), CaMJ, and KS diets of sheep decreased serum cholesteroland triasil glycerol (p<0.05). Dietary treatments did not affect serum LDL, while MJ, CaMI, CaMJ, ZnMJ, and KS decreased (p<0.01) serum HDL. It was concluded that calcium soap of fish oil increased nutrient digestibility of diets. In spite of zinc soap did not effectively protect fat, therefore the fiber digestibility of diet was decreased. Serum fat component was decreased consistently because omega-3 and omega-6 of fish oil and corn oil were protected by calcium soap. Keywords: soap, oil, mineral, roasted soya bean, sheep
