Abstract
ABSTRAK Pengamatan beberapa variabel hematologis ayam kedu pada pemeliharaan intensif dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mendapatkan data base status darah ayam kedu. Penelitian menggunakan 62 ekor ayam Kedu jantan dan betina masing-masing terdiri 4 macam warna bulu (merah, hitam, lurik, putih) mulai umur 2 minggu selama 10 minggu. Data dianalisis variansinya berdasar rancangan split plot (2 jenis kelamin, 4 macam warna bulu dengan 4 ulangan masingmasing unit 2 ekor). Variabel yang diukur meliputi status hematologis (kadar hemoglobin, PCV, MCHC, TPP, jumlah total eritrosit, jumlah total leukosit, defferensial leukosit (neutrofil, eosinofil, monosit, limfosit). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada interaksi antara jenis kelamin dengan warna bulu terhadap variable yang diukur, dan tidak ada pengaruh tunggal dari kedua perlakuan terhadap total protein plasma (TPP), jumlah eritrosit, hemoglobin (Hb), kadar neutrofil, eosinofil, limfosit, monosit dan “mean corpuscle hemoglobine concentration” (MCHC). Ada pengaruh(Lampiran 3) (Lampiran 3) (P<0,05) dari jenis kelamin terhadap rataan differensial leukosit (monosit). Warna bulu berpangaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap rataan packet cell volume (PCV), jumlah leukosit total, dan monosit. Kata kunci: Ayam Kedu, data base, variabel fisiologis ABSTRACT Observation research of physiology variables of Kedu Chicken in intensive conservation was conducted for getting data base of Kedu as apart of Indonesian germ plasma. It uses a number of 62 Kedu chicken that each group divided into 4 feathers color (red, black, mixed, and white). Observation was carried out in age of chicken from 2 weeks old in 10 weeks. Data was analyzed its variety base on split lot design (2 kind of sex, 4 kind of color feather with 4 repeated 2 chicken in each unit). Measured variables are performance (hemoglobin concentration, PCV, MVHC, TPP, erytrocyte total, leucocyte total, leucocyte defferential), and metabolism rate. Investigation obtains that no interaction between sex and feather’s color toward plasma protein total, erytrocyte total, hemoglobin (Hb), leucocyte defferential (lymphocyte, monocyte, neutrphil, and eosinophyl) and mean corpuscle hemoglobin concentration (MCHC). There is singgle effect (P<0.05) of sex toward rate of leucocyte differential (monocyte), oxygine consumption, and metabolism rate. Feather color have a significant influence (P<0.05) toward rate of average daily gain (ADG), feed conversion rate (FCR), packet cell volume (PCV), total total leucocyte, and having strongly significant (P<0.01) toward oxygen consumption, and metabolism rate.
