ANALISIS PENERIMAAN PENGGUNA AKHIR DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN TECHNOLOGY ACCEPTANCE MODEL DAN END USER COMPUTING SATISFACTION TERHADAP PENERAPAN SISTEM CORE BANKING PADA BANK ABC

Abstract

The objective of this research is to test acceptance model of core banking system usage in Bank ABC by using Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS). The acceptance of application usage would be differ in the environment that has ‘mandatory use’ characteristics compared to environment that has ‘voluntary use’ characteristics. In information technology environment having the character of voluntary use, users of information system have freedom to decide whether to utilize the information system or not. In the environment having the character of mandatory use, satisfaction of users become countable factor of usage acceptance of information system. The research subject is employees of Bank ABC. The amount of 150 questioners has been sent and 120 has responded. This research use Component Based Structural Equation Model or Partial Least Square ( PLS) method. The resulst of this research indicate that model of TAM can explain factors influencing acceptance of usage of core banking system in Bank ABC which is the variable of usefulness and easy of use. By utilizing EUCS model, accuracy, timeliness and ease variables affect acceptance of usage of core banking system in Bank ABC. On the other hand, content and format variables do not affect acceptance of usage of core banking system in Bank ABC. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji model penerimaan (acceptance) penggunaan sistem core banking di Bank ABC dengan menggunakan model Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) dan End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS). Dalam lingkungan teknologi informasi yang bersifat mandatory use dimana pemakai tidak memiliki kebebasan penggunaan sistem informasi yang dipergunakan perusahaan, tentunya penerimaan (acceptance) akan berbeda jika lingkungan teknologi tersebut bersifat voluntary use. Dalam lingkungan teknologi informasi yang bersifat voluntary use maka pemakai sistem informasi mempunyai kebebasan (freedom) untuk memutuskan memakai atau tidak memakai sistem informasi tersebut. Dalam lingkungan yang bersifat mandatory use, kepuasan pengguna menjadi ukuran penerimaan penggunaan sistem informasi. Subyek penelitian yang digunakan adalah para karyawan di Bank ABC. Dari 150 kuisioner yang dikirim, diperoleh responden sebanyak 120 karyawan atau tingkat pengembalian sebanyak 80%. Pengujian yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Component Based Structural Equation Model atau Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model TAM dapat menjelaskan faktorfaktor yang mempengaruhi penerimaan penggunaan sistem core banking di Bank ABC yaitu variabel kemanfaatan dan kemudahan penggunaan. Sedangkan mempergunakan model EUCS, variabel-variabel akurasi, ketepatan waktu dan kemudahan mempengaruhi penerimaan penggunaan sistem core banking di Bank ABC. Namun variabel isi dan bentuk tidak mempengaruhi penerimaan penggunaan sistem core banking di Bank ABC.
