Abstract
The objective of the research is to nalaysis the influence of leadership style on organizational commitment by measuring the influence of transformational dan transactional leadership style on organizational commitment. Is the re any positive and significant impact of leadership style which are collected by multifactor leadership questionnaire (MLQ) on organizational commitment. The population of this research were employee of the PT Pos Indonesia (Indonesian Post Company) Semarang branch. The sample were 150 respondent gathered by using proportional random sampling method. The data were analyzed by using regression method. The result show that leadership style both transformational and transactional style influence on organizational commitment. However; transformational leadership have grater influence than transactional leader style.
