KESESUAIAN ANTARA BASIL UJI TUSUK DENGAN PEMERIKSAAN IgE SPESIFIK TERHADAP ALERGEN MAKANAN PADA DERMATITIS ATOPIK

Abstract

Until now the etiology of Atopic Dermatitis (AD) is obscure. It is believed to be a multifactorial disease with genetic predisposition. One of the factors which is predicted to play a role in pathophysiology and etiology of AD is the food. On the AD patient it is predicted that there is secretory IgA in the intestine which is declining accompanied by increasing intestine permeability. Various test can be used to support the diagnosis of food allergy on AD patient The test are divided into in vivo and in vitro. The objective of this research is to find out the suitability between prick test and specific IgE (RAST) on the AD patient who are predicted to suffer the disease due to allergy to certain food materials. Twenty AD patient consisting of 17 women and 3 men were examined using the prick test and specific IgE. From the twenty AD patient there is only one patient showing positive result to shrimp when examined using specific IPF while the other patients showed negative results although on the prick test they showed positive results. From this research it can be concluded that there is no suitability between the result of prick test and specific IgE. Sampai saat ini etiologi penyakit Dermatitis Atopik (DA) masih belum jelas, dikatakan bahwa penyakit ini merupakan suatu penyakit yang bersifat multifaktorial dan mempunyai predisposisi genetik. Salah satu faktor yang diperkirakan berperan dalam patofisiologi dan etiologi DA adalah makanan. Pada penderita DA diduga terdapat secretory IgA di usus yang menurun disertai permeabilitas usus yang meningkat. Berbagai macam pemeriksaan dapat digunakan untuk mendukung diagnosis alergi makanan pada penderita dermatitis atopik yang dibagi menjadi pemeriksaan in vivo dan in vitro. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesesuaian antara pemeriksaan uji tusuk dengan pemeriksaan IgE spesifik (RAST) pada penderita DA yang diduga timbul akibat alergi terhadap bahan makanan tertentu. Dua puluh penderita DA terdiri dari 17 orang wanita dan 3 orang pria dilakukan pemeriksaan uji tusuk dan IgE spesifik. Dan dua puluh penderita DA hanya d dapatkan satu orang dengan pemeriksaan IgE spesifik positif terhadap udang sedangkan yang lainnya negatif walaupun pada pemeriksaan uji tusuknya positif. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat kesesuaian antara hasil pemeriksaan uji tusuk dengan pemeriksaan IgE spesifik.
