Abstract

The aim of this research was to know the relations and analyzed the strength of relations between there variables covering leadership, working environmeni, as well as education and training to the working spirit of employees at Central Java Provincial Secretariat Office. Method employed was quantitative explanatory, meaning this research was focused on explanation on the relation between variables and testing the hypotheses. Data collected from respondents were systematically and statistically analyzed. Research findings with Rank Kendall Coefficient Correlation show that: correlation between independent variables covering leadership (XI ), working enviromnent (X2), as well as education and training (X3) with working spirit (Y) as dependent variable have significant relations. Meanwhile Concordance Kendall Coefficient (W) analysis show that there was also relation betWeen X I, X2, and X3 altogether to Y. Furthermore Rank Partial Kendall Correlation Coefficient analysis show that the relation between X2 and X I , as well as between Y and X I only a bit influenced the relation between X2 and Y which 'was controlled by X l. Therefore Xl 'could directly relate to Y without controlling X2, while X2 could also stand by itself Tujuan penelitian tesis ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan dan menganalisis kekuatan hubungan variabel kepernimpinan, lingkunttan keija serta pendidikan dan latihan terhadap semangat kerja pegawai pada Sekretariat Daerah Propinsi Jawa Tengah, sedang metode yang digunakan dengan pundekatan kuanlitahl ekphumlory yailu penelffian penjelasau yang lbcusliva menvoroti pad pewelasan hubungan-hubungan alarira varialiel-vatiabel penelitian dan inenguji hipotesa yang telah dirumuskan sebeIuninya dan anahsis statistik berdasarkan pada data yang diperoleh dad responden dan rnendeskripsikan secara sistematis. Hashl analisa statistik Korelasi Koelisien Rank Kendall untuk korelasi variabel bebas kepemimpinan ( X l ), lingkungan keija ( X2 ) serta pendidikan dan latihan ( X3 ) dengan variabel terikat semangat kerja ( Y ) mempunyai hubungan yang sigfinikan, sedang perhitungan Koefisien Konkordansi Kendall ( W ) menunjukan bahwa terdapat korelasi secara bersama - sarna antara kepemimpinan ( Xl), lingkungan kerja ( X2 ) serta Pendidikan dan Latihan ( X3 ) dengan semangat kerja ( Y ), selanjutnya hasil perhitungan Koefisien Korelasi Rank Partial Kendall menunjukan bahwa hubungan antar X2 dan Xl serta antara Y dan Xl hanya sedikit mempengaruhi hubungan antara X2 dan Y yang dikontmi X1 bersiltat semu, jadi variahel X I dapat Iapgsung berhubungan dengan variabel Y tanpa mengontrol variabel X2, begitu juga variabel X2 dapat berdiri sendiri.
